How to make candied bacon aka brown sugar bacon – The Best Candied Bacon Recipe Ever!
This delicious snack is also known as Pig Candy.
Just two ingredients! Easy to make!
- 1lbs of Bacon
- 1/2 cup of Brown Sugar
- Preheat the oven to 350°
- Cut the bacon in half (optional).
- Add the bacon and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl. Toss until the bacon is coated well with the brown sugar.
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or non-stick foil and place an oven-safe wire rack on top of each baking sheet. Arrange the bacon in a single layer on top of the wire racks. Sprinkle any leftover brown sugar over the bacon.
- Place the baking sheets in the center of the oven. Bake 20-25 minutes or until done. Cooking time varies depending on the oven.
Let the bacon cool before eating or you will burn your mouth!
Candied Bacon will continue to crisp after it’s done.
