Peach Bread Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
2-3 teaspoons softened butter
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups peeled and diced peaches
Instructions:
Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with butter, dust with sugar. Set aside.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix flour, salt, baking powder, brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon in a large bowl. Set aside.
Whisk the eggs, oil and milk. Stir into dry ingredients.
Fold in the peaches.
Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 60-70 minutes.
