Copycat Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs
Ingredients:
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Combine the peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract and salt in pan. Heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is melted. Remove from the heat.
- Gradually stir in the powdered sugar.
- Shape the mixture into an egg shapes by hand or use an egg shaped cookie cutter. Place the eggs on the prepared baking sheet.
- Freeze the eggs for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate.
- Dip each egg into the melted chocolate.
- Place back onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Freeze until the chocolate is hard.
