Copycat Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs


  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips


  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. 
  2. Combine the peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract and salt in pan. Heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is melted. Remove from the heat.
  3. Gradually stir in the powdered sugar.
  4. Shape the mixture into an egg shapes by hand or use an egg shaped cookie cutter. Place the eggs on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Freeze the eggs for about 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the chocolate.
  7. Dip each egg into the melted chocolate. 
  8. Place back onto the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Freeze until the chocolate is hard.
