Pizza Lasagna Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Pound Italian Sausage
  • 1 Pack Pepperoni
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 2 Cups Mushrooms
  • 1 Can Olives
  • 1 Can Stewed Tomatoes
  • 1 Box Lasagna Noodles (Oven Ready)
  • 1 Bottle Pizza Sauce
  • 32 Ounces Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan
  • 2 Cups Mozzarella

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a large pan, cook and crumble the sausage over medium heat on the stovetop until done. Drain the sausage and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, cook the onions, green bell pepper, minced garlic and the mushrooms for about 5 minutes. Add the olives, tomatoes and pepperonis and continue cooking for another 3 minutes. Return the sausage to the pan. Mix well. Remove from heat.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together the Ricotta and the Parmesan.
  5. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Add a single layer of noodles.
  7. Add another thin layer of pizza sauce.
  8. Add a layer of the ricotta mixture.
  9. Add a layer of the sausage, onion, bell pepper, garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes, olives and pepperonis.
  10. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  11. Repeat the layers.
  12. Top with a final layer of noodles, pizza sauce, mozzarella and top with pepperoni and tomato slices (optional).
  13. Cover the lasagna with foil and cook for about 45 minutes. Remove the foil and cook for another 15 minutes or until done.
